I have my camera back at last, so I went strait outside to take some photos of the newly fallen snow, although it was dark already.This is the result
Used the reverse canon EF-S 18-55mm with my extension rings (12/20/36mm)

I cant remember the size, but it was a normal snowflake so I guess something between 2 and 4cm.

We have not even had much snow here... it froze for a week or so but without snow. Now all is gone and we are experiencing typical Dutch weather. Which means Shitty weather... at least it is dry now.

year we had some frost too, but there seems to be no living insect outside because of that, and frost is still not the snow I wanted
well it looks as though it gets a bit warmer now so I hope some insects come out

Same here a lot of cold and no snow... they say it will keep freezing for a few days. Which photography wise is not that exciting... Maybe halfway in the afternoon when the sun breaks through and there will be some mist forming... I'll have to see what the weather is going to do.

Weißt du eigentlich, wie schön das ist?
Das Bild ist an sich so simpel, ohne größeren Schnickschnack und trotzdem hat es etwas Bezauberndes.
Ich frage mich, wie nah du an den Schnee herangegangen bist mit deiner Kamera, um dieses Bild zu schießen...
Es gibt nur einen einzigen Kritikpunkt:
Es wäre noch schöner gewesen, wäre die Schneeflocke nicht an einigen Stelle so unscharf, sondern ganz fokussiert.
Aber das ist eher ein kleinerer Makel.

also ich glaub die kamera war so noch ungefähr 2cm weg vom schnee
das mit dem focus geht leider mit meiner ausrüstung nicht anders. Der focus ist so schmal dass ich die ganze schneeflocke gar nicht scharf kriegen könnte.
Es sei denn ich verringere die vergrößerung und nehme einen zwischenring raus
