So this feels like an appropriate pic to post after such a long hiatus.

I've been back from uni for almost two months now, I found a job and things are getting back to normal. The reason this pic is so appropriate is that it was actually the first thing I drew for my current fan-comic over three years ago before I even started uni, I just felt like drawing some cute animals and half way through I thought it might be fun to turn them into MLP:FiM characters. I should have finished by now but this comic was only ever about fun so I felt no need to rush it, now though, it's getting a bit silly.

I'm only half way through!

Over the next few weeks I'm gonna try to wrap things up, which is also why comic pages from now on will be in black & white, if there's one thing this comic has taught me it's that high detail comics do far better with simplistic/flat colours... or at least that's the excuse Im using. If this upsets any long time readers, I'm sorry, but it takes me only a day or two to pencil/pen a page but usually three to colour it and I'm not even really learning anything from doing it. The coloured sections are two small for me to really experiment.

Anyways, the picture, (if you can't tell) there's a large quality difference between the portraits and full body shots. This is because I only recently drew the head profiles, it's fun to see how my stuff has changed over the last few years. The characters are the OC shaman from my fan-comic who's powers, alongside Zecora's, are vital to sealing the elemental away. Their names are based on Swahili, which is the language Lauren Faust originally wanted Zecora to speak.
