Description Milo Amastacia-Lliadon (along with his rat familiar, Mordenkainen) is the main character of David Bayless' fanfiction 'Harry Potter & the Natural 20' ([link] ), a crossover of the Harry Potter books and the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. It's highly entertaining in its satirical view of both of its sources of inspiration, playing their differences up against each other to illustrate some of their sillier aspects.
Familiarity with the subject matter of at least one (preferably both) of the Harry Potter and D&D worlds is a necessity to get the full enjoyment of the narrative, but the storytelling is compelling enough to stand on its own. The tone of the banter between the characters is considerably more cheesy and pun-infested than in the original Potter books, as though it had been written by Terry Pratchett rather than J.K. Rowling. The writing has a distinct flavour of Marx Brothers' repartee, or perhaps Abbott & Costello. It wouldn't surprise me one little bit if an exchange like this turned up at some point:

"Who's on first base?"
"You-Know-Who's on first."
"No, I DON'T know who's on first!"
etc.

(Appropriately enough, one of the minor characters of the Harry Potter books, or NPCs, if you will, is given a much larger role in this version; which character? Hannah Abbott, of course.)

I had a swiss moment looking at this asking myself "Why is he so ugly?" Then it hit me; he HAS NO CHARISMA!
I now love this picture.

Ahem... The fugliness is probably more due to the fact that, well... It's a shitty drawing.

Sir Poley, the author of HPN20, mentioned several times in the story that Milo picked Constitution as his dump stat, rather than Charisma, in honor of his patron deity, Boccob. (And Milo regrets this decision often, since Cha is obviously the most useless stat of them all, in retrospect.) The author has regularly uploaded updated versions of Milo's character sheet, as well.

In fact, since D&D canonically conflates Charisma with physical appearance and attractiveness, as well as force of personality and whatnot, Milo would have to be super-sexy! After all, he certainly doesn't exhibit a lot of people skills or social good graces, so he'd have to be smokin' hawt to compensate, to qualify for an above-average Cha.

Sorry. I Forgot about that. I don't look at the character sheets and I just presumed after he found out charisma is dead useless he would also have relatively the same charisma stats of the high end in a low level character.
