Bet you weren't expecting me to be a fan of LazyTown, eh? Boy, did I prove you wrong! Yes, with the recent and tragic passing of Stefan Karl Steffansson, I thought it was a good time to take a look back at old LazyTown stuff. Immediately upon thinking of what episodes to watch, this one sprung to mind. Yes, I'm talking about the episode where Robbie Rotten turned into a furry. This happens in episode 15 of season 2. In said episode, the kids decide to hop into the story of "Three Little Pigs"... and they turn into animated versions of themselves with weird pig-noses. Robbie dresses up as the Big Bad Wolf (which looks like a really crappy store-bought fursuit) and hops into the book, which turns him into an anthropomorphic wolf. Yes, Robbie Rotten has become his fursona! He achieved the dream before all of us.The animated segments of this ep were probably the best part, since the animation as a whole was super good. Plus it was fun seeing Karl getting to voice-act Robbie playing another character. He appeared to be having a lot of fun in this ep (as per usual) and it was awesome getting to see him out of his element. If there's anything I can really complain about with this episode, it's that Robbie's plan makes zero sense. He wants to change the course of the book so the villain wins... Which will trap everyone inside the book forever, including myself. Yes, Robbie was willing to trap himself inside a book with people he claims he hates for the rest of eternity, just so he can claim a minor victory for the side of villainy. I mean... Okay? I know this is a kids show, but that's just a really stupid plan.
Another thing I didn't like is that Robbie didn't really react to being an anthro wolf... Like at all. I mean, there was a part where he discovered his new wolf form had bad breath, but that's about it. Kind of wish more was done was done with his new form to be honest. Still, it was a great episode and a good showing of why Karl was and will forever be the man. RIP Stephan Karl Steffansson, you gave up laughs, entertainment, and awesome wolf voices.
Again, the episode is Season 2 of Episode 15: Once Upon A Time. If you like the ep, I recommend checking out the whole series. A fair amount of eps are up on YouTube if you're curious!

Yeah, he didn't serve to die so soon, especially when he was only middle-aged. :C
