Description
Taken on a very cloudy day as can obviously be seen. The wind was high and the sk had very quick cloud movement and although it was quite overcast there were small breaks every now and then. These breaks were so small that they would send bands of sun light racing across the ground and this is what can be seen in this shot. I hope it shows that I timed it right in the fact that the sun streak was racing along the grass towards me and as soon as it hit the top of the tree that was my shot.Infrared shot, Nikon D80

This is simply astonishing. The IR effect completely transforms this scene. It's beautifully haunting in atmosphere, and brilliantly photographed. Stunning work.
You have a great gift for this style of photography.

People say that cementerys are depressing, this makes a difference. You made a great shot. In some places it looks painted, it's so beutifull. I've never seen a three like that, not even in Sweden where the winters are very cold.
I whis I had a own camera, the only one I can use is my dads...and, to simplyfy it, that camera sucks. When I take a photo and I zoom in "to long" (not even half of what I can zoom in) it get's all "pixelated". You can see the squares, big ones too.
However, this goes directly to my favs cus' it's simply fantastic. I wonder how it will look in the summer.

Thank you very much. This was actually taken in the summer. The reason it looks like this is because I use an Infrared camera!! If you look through my gallery you will see alot more and there are lots of good infrared photographers on DA too!

Have to be honest and say I would rather have been asked first and given the option as I am actually not a stock photographer.

Amazing.
You took a breath taking picture. I love how not all of the tree in this picture.
The tree is so beautiful and full of life, but everything around it is so dead...Great emotions captured here.

The contrast adds a great sense of mystery, a somewhat other worldly pressence. Very impressive work. You have captured an incredible scene here.

I think this is gorgeous.
I love going to cemetaries and taking photos of the graves, so this has inspired me quite a bit.
Nice work.
