Just had to add my own caption. They both look very nice, positively dapper actually. Jowan looks quite nice with his hair so neatly trimmed too. He also looks a little nervous. Whether that's because the templars always catch up to Anders or because he's nervous about traveling with a charming rake whose sexual orientation swings like a saloon door... (the sneaky hand at Jowan's waist is a very nice touch - pun intended)
If this were a full-length comic, I would so totally be reading it. As is, I'm just going to thoroughly enjoy looking at this one picture wondering what they're really saying

Hey, thanks for the great comment! As for Anders's hand, nice catch! The background concept was that they're actually a couple, but I opted for a 'just emerged' reaction. 
Anders and Jowan breaking out together was elendraug 's fantastic idea, and I'd highly suggest posting your feedback to her-- she's a great writer, so hopefully with enough interest she'll consider writing a piece on them (because I'd love to read one too, bwah)

But I won't begrudge them their first tentatively happy moment. Seeing as Jowan is the worst decision maker in Thedas and Anders is possibly the world's biggest shit-magnet, things'll go wrong in five...four...three...
And (mostly as a saloon-door myself) it's nice to see pairings like this after the constant stream of Anders or Jowan + Amell/Surana/other FemWarden/FemHawke etc...
Anyway, elendraug posted earlier about writing something to this effect. In the meantime, are you planning any more pretty pictures?

Jowan/Anders is a pretty refreshing pairing.
I'm happy to hear she might be writing it. I wouldn't mind drawing them again, except I don't really have any ideas at the moment...

OMG, this is great! Given their combined poor judgment, I'm guessing they were caught by nightfall. My two favorite mages, but I fear that neither of them had an overabundance of sense.
