Another piece of art from 40k, this time from the Necron.

This isn't a true piece of fanart for the soulless automatons that stalk the cosmos, just something that resulted in thinking about them one evening. Like I said, its an obsession.

While I tried to clearly state that this is of a robotic nature, I also wanted to go for a more...'organic' curve to it. Something insect-like. Thus, the almost beetle-like robot being dissassembled, the bone-like support post, and the odd vat at the bottom.
