Long ago (which was actually only about three months ago) I asked Jax to draw something for me to ink, so that I could try my hand at working with someone else's artwork. It was only when I was inking Lance, 's character, that he FINALLY gifted me with a most fabulous drawing. The original uninked work can be found here:

This took the better part of two-and-a-half hours to do. It takes up most of the 8"x11" printer paper it had been drawn on. Not two seconds after finishing, the .01 pen I had been using died. Perhaps a message from the Prince of Chaos?

I had a bad run in with one of these in a 40k battle, had just assaulted it with my Tyranid Broodlord who is Initiative 8, not knowing that it had a base initiative of 10. My Broodlord did not survive that turn.

Fa-reaking awesome inking dude. I'm usually way too scared to go over any of my sketches with ink because of my very loose drawing style. But oh man, if I did, I'd be looking at pieces like this for inspiration.
And I know you didn't draw it, but only one criticism (Lance, if you're reading): I hardly see it making me orgasm just by being in its prescence.

Great good lord! It's been a while since I've seen THAT. And ex of mine used to be rather disturbingly obsessed with Slaanesh. You've done a beautiful job on the inks both with the hatching and crosshatching adding volum and your own detail additions to the rough pencils that give the whole piece more character. Very well done.

I play Warhammer 40,000, and Mordheim. Gonna move to Fantasy somewhere down the line, with Orks perhaps because...well, thats what you play when you just don't GIVE a damn and wanna have fun!
And no background--I think it stands alone fine as it is. Plus, Jax has the drawing in his possession, so even if I wanted to do something to it, I can't.
