For some reason, this looks like Carnage if he was drawn in the Calvin and Hobbes style. This is just how Calvin sees himself. xD

To my knowledge (And I don't know a lot about comics, just read it up because I am interested in symbiotes) Carnage is decended from Venom. Basically there was an issue where Eddie was locked up in prison with a serial killer. Venom tried to get him out and bond with him, and when the succeeded and fled, Venom "cut" himself. And for some reason the remaining blood became sentient too and bonded with the serial killer. That's why carnage is red. It's actually a pretty silly backstory, but what the hell, it's Marvel

Ohhhh, that makes sense. I don't know much about the comics either lol, but I think this seems pretty reasonable compared to what DC tried to pull off in Batman v. Superman. XD Batman teaming up with Superman after finding out that Superman's mother was also named Martha was cheesier than a double cheese pizza sprinkled with parmesan.

Yeah, I remember seeing your nightcrawler drawings, those were good, and yeah, well it's kind of hard to draw him while your helping with a comic and writing your own no doubt.

I am actually working on several comic projects right now. Some of them aren't fanart, which is why I am hesitant to share them at this point, since Nirlock is still somewhat ongoing? And sunderance was mostly a one-off thing, though I am always at the ready in case Weaver needs me again.

Yeah, lately I've been working on a really neat idea I've been having with TheWyvernsWeaver. Its a sci-fi setting and a hero/coming-of-age story with a dark twist to it. If I am honest it is far more interesting to me than Nirlock at the moment. But I do know that I sort of have an "obligation" towards my audience because Nirlock's first chapter was so successful. Hmm, I need to post a journal about this soon.

Yeah I can understand that. I at times feel I'm more obligated to draw zootopia stuff since that is the audience I picked up. I plan to post the other picture I do, but I do know they won't be given as much praise or notice as my zootopia stuff. At times it feels a little overwhelming.
