This isn't the first commission I've ever done, but it's the first I'm posting here! Finished back at 25 June 2023 during my summer break, this one's for my friend jss2a98aj (or Jonathan) on Discord =w=This is his character, Crosswind. An Astraeus robotic platform, which all have a dragon-like design. He's specifically a Nightstrike model, intended to bypass nuclear defenses and deliver precision strikes (the face is just a decal)
He has a refraction field projector which bends light around him, rendering him invisible when needed. This serves dual function with the Leraje laser cluster. The beams can be redirected by the refraction field, allowing near 360° coverage against missiles and incoming strike craft
His turbofans are powered by hydrogen fuel, and the torso thrusters can be angled downward to aid in VTOL flight. They can also run on pure electric operation when at high speeds, where air bypass will provide thrust
Mono (the lizard dude, me) is here because Jon thought he'd be a funny inclusion (This is the first time I decided to give him hair, which is his current design =w= ). The banana is also essential for scale, I guarantee XD
