Description
I took a break from some larger projects to pursue a sketch that I had lying around. I think it came out ok, but I didn’t intend to go beyond a simple drawing - the drawing turned out messy though, so I inked it to oblivion.

Edit: Due to feedback I’ve gotten, I’ve decided to dub this “Eros and Thanatos”, a common theme in art. There’s a dance back and forth between love and violence, and it’s all wound up in a mortal coil. Sometimes you have to look twice at what you’ve made to see what you are doing.

Current big projects:
-Arthur ref sheet
-Nott preliminary
-Anatomy studies (Kagisnad) - moved up in line because I *need* anatomy practice
-The Panther illustration (direct application of anatomy from reference)
-John ref sheet (it’s gonna be great)
-Nott (prepare for huge mess, it’s supposed to be worth two artworks)
-Lazulil (hopefully before November. No idea if it’ll make a dyptich with Palimpsest or nott. ha. ha. I am funny.)
