Description
Alternate Names: Bigfoot, Albotritch, Albatwitch, Skunk Ape, Woods Ape, Woods Devil,Latin Name: Homo Sapiens cognatus, Gigantopithecus blacki
Like the Jackalope, this fabulous beast has managed to gain traction among the Cryptid community, and is probably the most well known of all! Sightings and hoaxes surrounding it are still somewhat common, even now, and interest remains fairly high, as does public recognition. The Sasquatch is known by many names and has variants all over the world, but most have a common theme of being described as 'wild man', with an ape-like body shape, large feet, and longer hair that covers the body. Some stink, some are darker, some lighter, some are more like gorillas and some like orangutans, while still others are chimp-like. A few have been spotted supposedly numerous times, identified by a unique individual characteristic (these are known as "marked" hominids). Mostly, this animal is seen as a shy and more prone to flee than fight, although some stories name them as cannibals and prone to attack and kill humans. I guess, as with humans, each one's response to sudden approach is different!

*Another redo while I am at it -- the previous version was one of the worst creature drawings I've done and I was absolutely ashamed of it. I like this one much better. I'm not great at humanoids, but it's not terrifically awful this time!
Still a more 'traditional' and generic version of "Bigfoot". If I ever feel ambitious or that I could do anything that wouldn't wind up wince-worthy, I may try some of the more well-known variations on the theme.
What exactly IS a Fearsome Critter?
