Description
sorry for spamming everyone with Frieza stuff but when I fixate on something, I *really* fixate on it. Anyhoo, I started this one waaaay back when chapter 7 of SoD was released and this is heavily inspired by the two nightmares Frieza has in that chapter. Still not fully satisfied with the stained glass windows in the background but hopefully they look somewhat like glass?Related content

Holy fish-on-a-stick, this is incredible..! I don't mind the fixation at all, of course, because it feels like we're keeping pace with each other. I fixate on the writing aspect of Savior of Demons, & you are fast becoming my unofficial illustrator extraordinaire.
My word, though, where do I start with this picture? I love how crazy-stylized you made the Second & Third Forms in the background; they're really unique because they're both monstrous & simultaneously they've got this weirdly satisfying aesthetic to them. Fourth Form Frieza really steals the show, holding his own (anatomically correct, yay!) heart aloft with a look that isn't pained, but more of a trance-like state. However, I must say that my favorite, favorite part of all is First Form Frieza at the very bottom. You have an outstanding understanding of posture, anatomy, & emotion that come together beautifully to weave a story in a single image. I think this is my new favorite piece of fanart (I feel like I say that whenever you surprise me with another picture, heh).

Thanks! At first, I wasn't sure it would fit with the story overall what with all the religious imagery (the stained glass, not to mention the lighting and poses are inspired by renaissance art), which is why I held off on finishing it. Funny thing is, I'm not even religious. Well, I hope this will provide you with a good jolt of inspiration to get that next chapter finished, can't wait for it!

I'm not religious either (I'm a loose Deist, if anything), but you can't beat either religion or mythology for inspirational artwork. This piece was indeed very inspiring, & I plan to put in a blurb about it tomorrow when I post the next chapter. You should be VERY proud of yourself!
