Description
*Gregorian chanting in the background* Pie iesu domine, dona eis requiem. *WHACK*I tried to do this in the style of old medieval paintings. If you were an avid reader as a kid, you might remember the "Crimson Barricade" series. Those books were my jam.
This is small part of a short comic I'm making but DAMN it's taking forever. I didn't want to wait till the comic was finished to post this so here you go.

Ho shit, you're bringing back memories. In the book at least. I don't remember that scene in the series, but I only saw a few episodes of it that I remember. That's absolutely nuts! I learned the definition of the word "impaled" from those books by how many times it was described in detail.

I think it's more that 'Crimson Barricade' sounds like it actually could be a book series, and therefore your first thought isn't to decode it
