The sixth day of Halloween is Allhallowmas. Traditionally, Allhallowmas was a harvest festival which was celebrated by having an enormous feast. The harvest was an important time to the ancient people as it marked the end of the fall and the beginning of winter, without out a good hsrvest it would be very hard to survive the long winter. When Christianity came through they converted the pagan holidays of the harvest into all saints day. All Saints day is the day to remember all of the saints that don't have their own individual days. To the early christians, All Saints Day was important because they claimed that it would take the power of all the saints in heaven to round up the devil and the demons which had escaped from hell the previous night.

I celebrate Allhallowmas by serving a great feast of my own which contains 5 courses and lasts all day.
