Description
Download for Full Views.I don't really do tutorials. This is kind of a step by step of how I sketch. I took it to a bit of an extreme to show forms. I hope it helps in some ways.

I just wonder how she doesn't trip up. The proportions are wonderfully precise, but in that pose I guess she would fall over. Especially on high-heels.

Pretend the wings are holding her up That's how I thought it was working anyway haha

Lol I agree. =_=' I didn't plan on sketching her feet. :/ I did it so that at least people can see how the feet would come in to play. D: I probably would never show this lol. But in the digital process I would fix all that.

Yeah, aside that the whole process and the way you've shown it is really clear and well made! It's just a minor detail I noticed because I'm an assl I'm sure you would easily alter it later on .

And I have question, if I practiced with your step by step, can I post it on dA? Because pose is a bit similar (I failed it a bit XD) can I post it? And ask you for critique
And for tutorial and that, that I tested it IT'S REALLY AMAZING! ONE OF THE BEST TUTORIAL/STEP BY STEP WHICH I HAVE EVER SEEN! Thanks for it one more time! Drawing poses is now possible! Even if I can't do it at all (beause I mosty don't know, how every part of body will look in shich prespective), it's so easy now! Just must practice more, because if you want to erase guide lines, it'll smooth and be black XD

Helpful- but her line of balance seems off. It may be good to point that out unless the point here is to have her looking in some type of motion

She is going into some type of motion, but =_='' It's really hard to demonstrate final work when this is just a sketch process.

How did you learn to draw figures?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Morigalaxy In reply to peanutbutterman [2013-04-12 00:47:08 +0000 UTC]
I learned figure when a girl I respected told me I couldnt draw people. I self studied really hard until I manage to go to college. From there I had friends who were more advance than me to guide me. I also went to school for 2 semester and studied really hard on the human figure. I had a professor who was really wise, so wise he proclaimed himself god. lol So I learned how to quick sketch with him to get details down. Then I entered animation human figure drawing class, and then learned to draw dynamic poses. while taking another figure drawing class at the same time, to maintain traditonal ideas of human figures. lol
And On the side I just draw figures for fun. That is how I have learned to draw figures.
