i say break the rules! sometimes an image works better when there are no rules to follow. its all about the flow and feel of an image! love the shot, and would love to see it uncropped.

sorry it took so long to reply! i have been hammered with work and school, not to mention my computer just took a shit. damn. i have nooo idea as to even the genus. it is obviously in the cactaceae family, though there is the off chance it could be in the euphorb family. sorry.. i am only good at california veg.

thanks man!! no, i centered the horizon when i took the shot. this makes the horizon straight in the image. then i cropped it to follow the center comp rule.
