Description Sketchy headshots of my band of merry men from my Pokemon Y game. C:

Demetri the Delphox
Elias the Talonflame
Acuzio the Tyrantrum
Kellen the Sylveon
Sven the Heliolisk
Adonis the Dragalge

Occasionally I switch a couple of Pokemon out for Echo the Noivern or Talwar the Yveltal, but normally it's just the guys above.

Mainly picked their names because they were fancy, but Acuzio means sharp (because Tyrantrum's fangs), and Adonis is a type of poisonous flower (Dragalge is poison/dragon type). And i'm pretty sure I once read a story with a fairy in it named Kellen, hence Sylveon's name.

this is my way of procrastinating. xD

I mean...really. You're the only one who has drawn a respectable male Delphox as far as I've seen. I love how you can get their character across just by their expressions, too! You should note me your friend code :3

I quite literally added eyebrows and a couple of whiskers and he looked manly. xD

The best male delphox I've seen is this one: fav.me/d6r5c3i

Will note you in 2 secs when I get my DS. C:

Oh! Hadn't seen that one! Very nice! :3 He looks a bit more surly than yours, though. Yours just seems debonair and princely. XD

Soon to be added! once I go get mine and plug it in, since it's so dead it won't turn on...

My Delphox is a gentleman. xD
I like to imagine he's very similar to the character who shares the same name from Anastasia. xP

I think because you're not connected to the internet it won't register your code. I'll try again later, then. c:

Just so you know, i'm in no way a competitive battler, haha. I just picked cool looking Pokemon and the first one I see is the one I catch... so if their nature's bad I don't bother finding a new one. xD and I also hate using status moves so everyone destroys my team

Haha, don't waste your good eevee's on me! My aim is just get one of everything then stash them in the PC, and it'd be a waste to let such good eevees sit around and that's it. xD

Also, noting friend code now~

You mean Dragalge?
I can get you a Skrelp (it's prevo), but which nature? I can breed a modest one for a bulky sweep or calm one to be a special wall. c:

Modest would be appreciated~ Bulky sweep also nice if you can c:

I'd be more than happy to give you one of my perfect little Eevees just ready to be groomed into the best of Jolteons~ Timid nature and if you teach him Hidden Power, it's Ice type

Mmkay, sounds good! I thought I had a baby Skrelp with a modest nature in my PC, but it turns out I don't. xD
But i'm breeding some now, so hopefully i'll get one soon. c:

My poor Dragalge hates me because it suffers having to be with LoveMachine the Ditto. xD

D'aww, I love Jolteon. ;u;
Once I get this modest Skrelp, i'll let you know right away. xD

Sounds good to me!

I adore Jolteon too! ;w; I have to have him on every team I make. Now I want to draw a Jolteon wearing those snazzy Choice Specs~

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 04:16:38 +0000 UTC]

Jolteon's my favourite eeveelution, but ever since playing Y, I seem to have developed a like for Sylveon, even though I hated it at first.
You should most definitely draw it, it'd be awesome. :'D

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 04:19:58 +0000 UTC]

Sylveon is adorable too. c: Jolteon just seems more canine-like and would make an excellent companion even though they're all canine or something like that

I also love Pumpkaboo. <3 It's a shame he's not very strong but I love that little face it has cx

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 04:24:16 +0000 UTC]

Except Espeon, because that thing is a cat, I don't care what anyone else says! :T
It's just Sylveon's Pokedex entry about how it wraps it's feeler things around the trainers arm and walks with them. Damn that's adorable. xD

I haven't even seen a wild Pumpkaboo yet. :C
And yeah, it's face is way too cute, haha. ;u;

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 04:27:37 +0000 UTC]

Umbreon and Espeon are very cat-like xD So I think that's really the only exception, there.
I always read into it like it just full-on entwined it's victims friends with the feelers if it likes them.

You can find them in the tall grass before the snowy town. c: They come in different sizes too.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 04:31:17 +0000 UTC]

I think Umbreon's a dog, minus the slit pupils. xD
Okay, now I think of Sylveon as a creepy "if I can't have you no one will" sort of Pokemon.
Oh god.

Really? :0
First thing i'll do after I get that Skrelp, haha.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 04:46:11 +0000 UTC]

Sylveon is always creepy. It'll strangle you if you make it mad. :I

Yep! You can catch them in tiny, normal, large and super.
Tiny is faster but super has better Atk.

I have Clawitzer in my game who is phenominal but his speed is not great and he's solid water type.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 04:51:51 +0000 UTC]

Well then.
That's unsettling. o_o

I wanna catch a tiny one~ :'D

Yeah, Dragalge's a bit slow, but he's pretty powerful. And has decent sp. defense, too. Not to mention he looks awesome.
I got Skrelp mainly because it looks like some sort of Horsea that got mixed up with the wrong crowd, haha.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 05:09:34 +0000 UTC]

I can only imagine how such a cutesy pokemon could be when it's mad. xD It should be able to learn the move constrict or wrap.

Little tiny Pumpkaboo <3 Just want to hug it and it's little bat face

Dragalge is pretty powerful overall. It's only weak against Dragon and Ice and maybe Fairy.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 05:35:06 +0000 UTC]

I just...
Imagining it all crazy like and wrapping you up in its feelers is just so weird. ono

So cute, haha. :'D

It's an awesome Pokemon minus it's speed. Unless you get a timid natured one, which is probably the next best thing to a modest one. c:

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 12:33:28 +0000 UTC]

It'll just mummify you that way. xD
I think drifloon is cute for that though. Drifloon uses it's little string for kids to hold on to then flies away with them, spiriting them away

I find that a good way to give it a little speed boost is to give it a Choice Scarf. A lot of your pokemon that have incredibly High Special Attack and Special Def lose what Speed attribute they would normally have but giving them a scarf would boost their speed significantly but limit what choice of moves you have available in combat.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 12:44:50 +0000 UTC]

Drifloon is the besttttt

I never evolved mine on Pearl because he's too cute for words. :,D

He can spirit me away any day.

What sort of moves does it limit? :0

Also! Got an amazingly modest Skrelp here. She's very special because she is the baby of my Adonis (give or take the other box full of his kids... But ignore that)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 13:20:41 +0000 UTC]

All the little ghosts are adorable c: Except Gastly.

Choice Scarf makes it so that you can only choose one move and when you use that move, it's the only move you're able to select until you retreat it. Scarf greatly boosts a pokemon's Speed while holding it; same idea for Choice Specs and Band. They increase a stat dramatically (x1.5) but you can only use one move.

Great! I can trade you if you're on now. What's your in game name though? xD Mine is Paige :I

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 13:24:23 +0000 UTC]

Gastly sucks. lD

Ohhh, I see. I normally just give them an item that boosts the type of move I use most (like soft sand for a ground type), but I might give might try the choice scarf out. c:

My name is Arren in game. xD
I don't like the girl designs ever so i'm always a guy when I play Pokemon. lD
Unfortunately i'm not sure how to trade with friends via internet. I always just traded locally so yeah. Care to elaborate? xD

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 13:27:47 +0000 UTC]

All you have to do is connect to wifi and I should be on your friend list at the bottom screen. Just click on my icon, select trade. It'll ask you if you want to turn on game chat (usually keep this off because it's mic chat and the mic is awful anyhow).

If you hop online, I can start the trade. c:

Scarf is very useful though . It can make slow pokemon a smidge faster than the opponent's.

I will~
And enjoy the little Eevee <3 She'll make a perfect Jolteon.

If you want, you can use the destiny knot/everstone breeding method to get more perfect Eevees from her so you can make an Eevee team

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 13:40:51 +0000 UTC]

She's so cute, oh my gosh. I love eevee~ :'D
The Skrelp has Pokerus, by the way! Make full use of it! ;D

The everstone method I used for the Skrelp, haha. It was ages before I remembered my Dragalge had a modest nature... could have saved me riding my bike everywhere, haha. lD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 13:44:27 +0000 UTC]

Pokerus?
I love you forever, Kei.

That is true. x'D You know about the Destiny Knot part too, right? If you have perfect Individual Values (IVs) on a pokemon that you want to pass down, Destiny Knot will guarentee 5 random IVs from both parents.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-05 13:52:10 +0000 UTC]

You are most certainly welcome.
My Dragalge's babies are amazingly diseased. spread that virus around oh yeah

Oh! Didn't know it did that. :0
Guess i'm gonna start breeding a bit more. All the bad natured things can just go through wonder trade, haha. I've actually got some pretty nice stuff from random trading. xP

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-05 13:56:46 +0000 UTC]

Yep! So typically if you want to breed perfect pokemon for battle, finding that pokemon or a ditto from the Friend Safari is guaranteed at least two perfect IVs on the pokemon. So if you have an Eevee with 31 IVs in SpAtk and Speed and breed it with a Ditto that has 31 IVs in Def and SpDef; by giving the Destiny Knot to one of the parents, you're guarenteeing that 5 random IVs are going to be passed down (so you have a decent chance of passing down all 4 perfect IVs to the offspring) and the everstone of course passes down the nature of the parent holding it.

I gotta go to work now~ That's enough for today's pokemon school xD

And thanks again for the eevee~ o3o

It's so much more! I mean, yes you still want to beat down your opponent but it's all about predicting and strategizing.Β

Breeding pokes can be fun and a good way to pass the time. If you decide to battle, breeding perfect mons will help you deal more damage and survive hits.Β

With every new gen I try to make my team up of only new Pokemon. Everyone thinks i'm dumb because they're all like "old school Pokemon for life", but meh, I like new stuff and now the same old thing.
Mega evolutions was just a very Digimon move on Nintendo's part (not to mention completely unnecessary). And the small amount of Pokemon in gen 6 was saddening. :c

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

MrRowboat In reply to Mousewren [2013-11-07 03:45:54 +0000 UTC]

As much as a Genwunner I tend to be, I like a lot of what Pokemon has been introducing; except with some of the changes to the metagame but more importantly: I think some of the pokemon in this generation were certainly creative. We might not have gotten as many as some others but we got a lot of unique and diverse pokemon this time around. Mega forms I really don't like and never used through the game ever, even when getting the lucario or the torchic or even the kanto starter. I feel like it takes away from what the original concept was and it was simply pandering to people's favorites.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mousewren In reply to MrRowboat [2013-11-07 09:08:46 +0000 UTC]

Some of the designs were alright.
I only liked the ones of my team, plus Yvetal and Noivern, honestly. But the ideas for other ones were cool (Like Aegislash or Inkay).

The Megas were just so pointless, and I completely agree that they were bought in to satisfy "old school" gamers. I never used any Megas, and don't plan on it. I only kept the Kanto starter for a while because I didn't have a full team as of yet.
