Your trees are amazing! I work with wire too. But mostly making people or animals. I tried doing a tree but it in no way turned out like yours. I haven't done wire work for a while but I am truly inspired by your work. It's absolutely beautiful!

hey, I got something like this, on the ends of the wire-branches, there are little gemstones representing leaves.
But it ain't as big or impressive as this!

Or better yet, I found one thas similar, but a bit nicer than mine by searching for it [link] you can cleary see that the body of it is just like what you do with wire here, as for the gemstones, those little ones used for the leaves aren't THAT costly and can simply be glued to the ends of the branches, and the base could have its roots wrapped around a larger crystal...people make and actually sell these little beauties ( hey, I bought one 
Try doing a google image search for "gemstone bonsai" or "crystal tree" or something along those lines and you'll find photo's of trees far more impressive than the one I got

Did all that years before I started to make my own trees. First spotted them on Ebay and became fascinated with them. I prefer to make them without the leaves, mainly because I'm a stick in the mud for details and it would just take an incredible amount of time to do one the way I would make it. That would be by hammering the ends of each and every wire flat and painting the flatten ends by hand, what ever color is the most appropriate for that tree!!! Man, I can see it now::::::::
