[About the Species]
Mox's species is a hybrid cross between any species or sub-species of the corvidae & vulpine families. Potential crosses for others of his kind are as follows:

The corvidae are arguably the most intelligent sub-species of birds, as many have demonstrated self-awareness and tool-making abilities. Combined with the sharp, clever minds of vulpine subspecies, the hybrid mix that is Mox's species is another entity entirely.

Due to their esteemed bloodlines, they have developed a highly sophisticated form of speech, including a written language, though it is primarily symbolic. Also as a result of their avian counterparts, they possess strong, talon-like front legs and feet, allowing them to easily manipulate objects and even in some cases, various forms of magic. Despite their relations to birds, they do not possess wings and they cannot fly.

The species as a whole values knowledge over all things, and naturally the smarter an individual is, the more quickly they rise in the ranks of their chosen clan. Most have an affinity for a specific element, of which there are five in polite corvulpan society--Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and Spirit. Many aspects of their culture are governed by the elemental forces, though despite being affiliated with one branch, all forms are worshipped equally.

At the time of birth, young are gifted with their own personal sigil. These are primarily more of a superstition than anything else, though it is said certain marks mean more than others. For example, marks that appear in a circular fashion usually belong to those destined to fall under the affiliations of Spirit, however this is also true for sigils of Water.

In terms of general appearence, all individuals possess avian front legs, and feathers in their long silky tails. It is also very common to see them adorned with jewelry, though it is usually never anything extravagent. Many pieces are hand-crafted out of simple materials such as bone, clay, and silver. Bird skulls, feathers, and pieces of glass are all common adornments worn by both genders.

Their diet mostly consists of fish, though they will hunt pheasant and other small game on occasion. They are never seen as scavengers, however, despite their avian lineage.
