That is one turkey who found out it does not pay to be a smart ass.The team had scored a touch-down and was about to go for a goal kick.
The turkey had a problem with that because he had placed a large bet with a friend on the other team winning...So the turkey hopped out of the grandstand and rushed out onto the field, then seized the ball to prevent the team from scoring that extra point.
When the turkey would not let go of the ball, the team's captain, Charlie Cougar, told Spike Bulldog and Sammy Irish Setter, "If he insists on keeping the ball, then send his ass over the goalpost with it. I ain't about to let a turkey cost our team a point".
So over the goalpost the turkey went with the ball.
After the turkey came in for a hard landing, and with a sore ass from being kicked, thus the team getting that extra point (as long as the ball goes over, which it did), Charlie Cougar then told the turkey, "Welcome to the NFL, Bub. Now go back and take your seat in the grandstand and stay out of our way".
That turkey found out the hard way it don't pay to get in the way.
