Late in the days of spring with over saturated ground cover, water collects and spills into long carved paths over monkton quartzite (red rocks). Herb Robert, false solomon seal, and a butter cup needle thread through a blanket of moss that lays under a labyrinth of buckthorn and honeysuckle.
