-Blake blinked, looking at the mirror in front of him. He didn't need sight to see the monster in his reflection. A grimace stretched on his muzzle. A shiver went through his spine. Another morning, another day in hell. His father was gone, working far away in the city. He wouldn't see him in a month or two. But that didn't really matter any more. Scar barely seemed to notice his sons any more. He was changing, as was Blake. Life was harder than before.
He looked into the mirror. "They say the eyes are the windows to one's soul. Well, do you see it? Do I still have a soul?" He grinned, a smile with no kindness. The blood ran down his eye, descending from the scar. His radio blared in the distance.
'I want your eyes
I want your eyes on me

His tail twitched slightly.
'I want your eyes

I want someone to notice me!'
"Yes," He thought. "Please..."
'I wanna be your new victim
I wanna be your new victim'
Blake lured himself from the bathroom, becoming more aware of his surroundings as he trudged outside. He felt the gazes around him but barely reacted. People were scared of him and he knew it. He felt the uneven scar tissue on his forearm. A thought occurred to him...
"Feathers...not fur. Then I would be able to fly out of this place."
