Description
Two Dragons face off in front of a cracked wall carved with Celtic knotwork. This 20-something" by 20-something" painting was created with acrylic inks and acrylic airbrush paints (used with both airbrush and regular paintbrushes).Related content

This is just terrific work! To say that you're a highly skilled artist would be a massive understatement, and you've used those skills to paint a picture that's rich in lush imagery and ornate, intriguing detail. Your dragons have a wonderfully mythological, eternal quality to them, they bring to mind guardians of an ancient civilization, and this impression is enhanced by the beautiful symbols and the cracked wall behind them. Intruders would do well to give this place a wide berth, for to engage these mighty beasts would be it invite certain doom.

I really like the colors here, the way the dragons seem very much alike but also inverted. Love the shiny detail on the design in the bg, and the cracks too... love the cracks, they are awesome. Great stone texture also.

Again, I love the celtic knotwork; I'm a huge fan of it and have even used it in my own work (none posted currently however). Combined with my love of dragons, this is another piece that has me easily seduced. The kind of "mirror color opposites" in the dragons is particularly excellent, well done!
