The apocalypse is not scheduled for December 21, 2012, according to NASA. Scientists at the US space agency are taking an unusual swipe at doomsday crackpottery this week in an online campaign designed to address fears fueled by the end of a cycle in the ancient Mayan calendar, a Hollywood movie, and a fresh wave of pseudo-science crackpots. Not to mention Sonyβs viral marketing campaign.
βNothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012,β NASA states in a new FAQ web page set up for the occasion. βOur planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists know of no threat associated with 2012.β
The space agency is taking aim at a popular end-of-days scenario given credence on various crank websites that a planet called Nibiru or Planet X will collide with Earth during the 2012 holiday season, wreaking havoc and devastation on an unparalleled scale. The story goes that NASA has been secretly tracking this rogue planet since 1983 but has suppressed all news of its existence across the world in the name of βglobal security.β NASA says this tale is factually untrue.
Of course, thatβs just what youβd expect them to sayβ¦

I didn't believe at first, but then I did some research and am in the Grey Zone. I'm neutral on the subject. I don't want to believe it, but it could happen.
Coincidentally, the solar systems core,(IE our sun) will align near perfectly with the galactic core in 2012. Specifically dated 12/21/12. There is a high chance that the energy provided by this occurrence could give the sun an overdrive of power and spew super solar flares, and perfect electromagnetic storms. Potentially (99.9% chance) destroying Earth, along with a few other planets. NASA, however, has stated that the sun aligns with the Galactic core every December, (lol 12th month.) and that there is nothing to worry about since it is "predicted" that the solar climax, or maximum, which is when our sun becomes active again, (Sun spots and solar flares more common. It's an 11 year cycle.) will not peak until 2013, and is expected to be far less active than last year. Then again, anything can happen in space.
Another theory is that Planet X or Nibiru will make a fly by and crash into Earth. NASA has stated Nibiru does NOT exist.
Another is that Nibiru is not a planet, but instead a brown dwarf. (A star that never got hot enough to become a full star. Instead, it's a cloud of radiated dust and other materals.) If it were to pass through our solar system, it would be catastrophic. The two stars in our solar system would be in a duel of heat and energy and spew super solar flares, super radiaton, and perfect storms for millions of years all in the same time destroying most likely all of the planets, and in the end only leaving two stars. OR, nibiru would be a calm star and we'd just have two suns. Which would suck. More heat. But again, NASA states this is fales, and that it doesn't exist.
Then again, why would a government or scientists cover this up?
That's a sarcastic question. The truth of the matter is, so to avoid world wide panic and anarchy. We would destroy ourselves before 2012 did.
So you have to ask yourself. The science behind it, the possibilities behind it, the conspiracy behind it... the possible lies about it.
If you've read this. Do research. You have the internet. Then ask yourself. Do you feel safe?
Especially since that "scientist" in the video said, "Nimbiru", instead of it's correct name, "Nibiru." Why would a scientist joke about something like that?
Maybe he's being sarcastic, maybe he's hiding something. We won't know until we know. But that is true. 12/21 is when the sun, the earth and the galactic core align. It's an interesting topic really.

I personally don't believe in this "story", but then again I was starting to wonder that you can't believe what the media or government tells you. Now you can ask yourself..will you believe them or will you believe the conspiracy theories or that kind
But I am sure that the world will be just as it is now, in 2013
