I look at Lucy Mardling... Then at "Meat Confetti"... Oh god I has a sad.

But then there's Garfield Hubert Cromwell Marmaduke Blanton III... Who has the fate of "other" and I demand story time.

So I'm guessing this was a Call of Cthulhu campaign you engaged in recently? This is merely an educated guess, but the prodigious amount of vintage clothes, suspenders and gruesome deaths sort of gives me the inkling.

Sounds like a pretty typical Cthulhu romp. The horror of inflicting this on the characters I'd play is a sign I've probably got something wrong with me.

Six out of twenty isn't so bad

Unless you count the ones who aren't TECHNICALLY dead in which case it becomes worse.

Also if the dude didn't survive being shot inna neck.

Best to have your superior (of whatever variety) schedule another and cancel it after your return.

Only a 65% death rate? Huh. These folks got lucky. Although perfect survival rate is only 8.7%, and there's a nice couple cases of sanity slippage. Looks like the game must have been quite interesting.

Sanity checks are probably one of the best things to rule at when it comes to Call of Cthulhu.
