I forget who asked this question, because it was forever ago and the screencap I took to remind me was on my old computer. It's a good question, though. It's been ages since we've seen these guys so it was really fun to draw them again.ΒDefinitely one of those ones I wanted to draw again the second it was done, but well- that's an endless loop.

The more I look at the Khornate ones horn crown thing, the more I think of Slambo without armor and in 40k lol
The Nurglitch still screams ghost face to me but in a much more grimdark warhammer way.

Part of what I don't get about the Nurglites is the profusion of tanks and hoses.
Is it-ironically-a hygiene thing? Bottle up their leaking ichor so it doesn't get everywhere?

In eppsteins case, he used to be a miner and that was his oxygen tank. Goodness only knows what its full of now. Shower hair? Tape worms? Twinkie filling?

Twinkie filling is definely in the realm of Slaanesh, as is Marmallow Fluff.
What's truly glorious about this piece is how many people who are Khorne or Slaanesh-oriented in the real world do look like their Reprobate characters. That's true even for people who've never played or even heard of the game.

Ah, the Reprobates!Β My favorite bunch of chaos cultists!Β If you count Cultist-chan they cover the whole spectrum, and prove that you CAN have Chaos forces cooperate without necessarily being beaten into line.Β Which goes a long way to explaining why they haven't crumbled entirely yet.Β The Reprobates themselves strike me as a very extreme case of best frienemies, not to mention they're probably individually pretty powerful compared to the average chaos mook.Β It's hard to find peers in the forces of Chaos I suppose, especially if you aren't a Chaos Marine!

I feel like they represent their gods and have been granted perks accordingly. I suspect a big part of their cooperation is their respect or fear of their boss (Dranon) but they are also aware that on some level they bounce off each other.

Looks like the choas gods are at it again, I like your Tzeentch, and nurgle and slaanesh, But I think khorne is more suitable to wear actual armour out of the four gods, and if he was challenged he would depend on his own skills as a warrior.

The berserk aspect has captured the public's imagination and I think that's fine but I think it's important to acknowledge the other aspects yeah. people think Slaanesh is 100% excess and rargllblargl cocaine in the dick!, a million titties! red bull!, forgetting that slaanesh is about obsession and fetishizationΒ and perfection. Insidious and capable of great subtlety. Slaanesh is leather corsets, but she's also silk sheets.
