Angela looked up and saw thin strings hanging from the ceiling. She flowed them down to her own arms and legs. Her flesh and blood self might have been horrified by such a thing, but in her current state she felt relaxed. She let herself dangle for a while, only the tips of her toes gently dragging on the floor. Her hair sat atop her head as a spherical wooden bun, all the better to stay untangled from her wires. Her arms were now bare, polished wood. A piece of sheer fabric flowed lightly from around her waist. The two brushstrokes of her lips formed a small smile. She looked like a dancer! But she didn't feel like dancing just yet. For now, Angela was content to hang around just a bit longer.
