Continued from [link]Enter The Collective Part 2: The Proposition And The Primary Objective
****************************
Okay...so what do I do now? I've found Gemma, however she's in the middle of undergoing some pretty extensive transformation into one of these cyborg women...what I'm afraid of is that if I remove the various wires, tubes, and other machinery that's invading what's left of her organic parts that it would kill her, not to mention that her complete lower half of her body is missing...yep, my scans of her vitals have deducted that it would definitely kill her if separated from the machines for a extended period of time, as her incomplete cybernetic additions are serving more as life support at this moment. She stirs a little bit and I see that she's actually conscious...she struggles a bit but manages to lift her head to look at me. Her left eyeball is missing and is currently replaced with a series of wires and tubes entering her ocular cavity, tubes have invaded her nostrils of her nose plus there's a giant tube that's in her mouth, her head had been shaven already and the base of her skull had been removed surgically...I could see where it looks like various implants and other machinery had been added. And on top of all of that, the little bit of skin that is left is riddled with various wires, nodes, plates, and other things that has made Gemma less human and more machine now.
She looks at me with tears streaming out of her still organic right eye and with a weak and murmured voice, her speech patterns hollow and digitized as she parts her lips and attempts to talk,
Wow...It's chilling to me to hear her say those words. She's in so much agony that she would rather just die than to endure another moment of her imminent transformation into one of these cyborg women. Not to mention that she wants me to be the one to put her out of her misery! Nobody told me that being a Superheroine involved and kind of shit like this! I don't wanna kill anyone, even if it is to put them out of their misery! No...snap out of it Nikki...get your head in the game and focus...don't fall apart now! It's been my mission to save Gemma since her disappearance; I said that I was gonna bring her home and dammit, that's what I'm gonna do! I don't know why I've been brought here, but since I'm here I might as well make good on my promise! My favorite thing to say is that pressure can either crack pipes or create diamonds....and it's time for me to shine!
She repeats her morbid request of being put out of her misery, but I ignore her. Hmm...I wonder if there's any kind of way that I can connect some of her wires to my body and keep her alive by splicing my energy source in my body with one of her wires. C'mon...think Nikki think! There's gotta be something that I can do to....
I turn to the direction of the voice to see a rather large cyborg woman smiling at me. I was so caught up in trying to rescue Gemma that I almost forgot that I was in the middle of unknown territory with all of these cyborg chicks! Arggh...stupid move Nicole, now she has the jump on me and it's painfully obvious that this was a trap! This new cyborg looks different from the others that attacked me and that are in all of the tubes in this giant chamber...she looked overly machine-like, her body looked more robotic, only loosely resembling that of a human...almost like a small mech or something. She's tall...about 6 feet 5 or so. Her limbs, as well as the major joints of her body, are segmented...said joints that connected one part of her body to another were visible. Her abdomen doesn't resemble anything like that of proper human anatomy...it looks like a big mechanical cylinder that tapers off from her upper torso and her legs. Her breasts, or whatever you want to call them, are rather large...why would a machine need such large boobs? Her neck consists of a series of tubes and wires with no covering connecting into various ports and jacks along the base of her skull.
Speaking of her skull...the entire right side of her head starting at the top of her skull was completely mechanical. Asides from her entire body schemata being entirely different from any of these other cyborg women, the other half of her head was covered with hair...which I find rather odd with all of the rest of the machinery and the fact that the other cyborg women were shaven bald. My scans of this giant cyborg woman tell me that 98% percent of her body is completely cybernetic...I can see via my X-Ray vision from my bionic eye that the other half of her head, face, and a little piece of her brain is all that's left of her organics. Despite the rest of her menacing almost monstrous appearance, her face is actually fairly attractive...she has surprisingly smooth ebony skin only a few shades lighter than my own and full luscious lips. She's quite an impressive sight, however I just can't shake the feeling of this woman looking very familiar to me.
She stares at me with her glowing pupil-less eyes with an evil smirk on her face as she walks closer to where I'm standing. Her body buzzes and whirrs with mechanical noises with each movement that she makes. She keeps her distance as she circles me, nonchalantly examining my tense frame, coiled and ready for an evasive attack....she's probably running a scan on me just like I'm doing to her...her power levels are off the charts! In some strange way, however, it seems more like she's checking me out as opposed to sizing me up for a fight.
It just hit me...I know where I know her from...this woman is, or was Dira Lane...former Triple F Ultimate Champion as well as former heroine that later turned rogue and joined the evil group Cybercom. She looks much different from the last time I've seen her! I interrupt her...
Well, I was right in saying that she WAS Dira Lane. Okay, I need some answers.
I took it upon myself to lead the charge for my cyborg uprising...however, Cybercom's executive board said that I was a megalomanic...a madwoman to want to assimilate only women and create a world run by Gynoids. I no longer cared about their plans of being the world's leader in the manufacturing of cybernetics and technology...I wanted for Cybercom to be in full control of the world! The board continued to show their defiance and of course I didn't let that stop my plans; being that I had so much influence within Cybercom, I was able to get most of the female cyborgs that were products of Cybercom that were dedicated to the cause of complete gynoid rule to join my insurrection. Of course, the males were exterminated and the females that resisted were either assimilated by force or destroyed completely. Yet my legion isn't quite big enough...I need to assimilate more women into the Collective so that we are able to make our vision into a reality. That would explain the recent abductions of women like Gemma Kildare here...I need strong subjects to help complete the Primary Objective, as I see that we are going to have to use violent force for all to comply with achieving our primary objective. Some of these women are receiving just a few cybernetic additions, whereas some are being made with full mechanical bodies like myself. This is the new face of Cybercom."
I didn't expect any of that! Just then she walks up to me and strokes her hand softly across my face. I kindly swat it away.
I'm beginning to get a little pissed and annoyed by this chick.
This is your destiny, Adora-1. Denounce your humanity and embrace the Machine. Join me as my herald and lover and we will rule the world forever...I promise you all of the desires of your heart!"
Damn, this chick talks a lot!
Just then at that point, it seems like all of those pods that contained the fully assimilated cyborg women opened up and they all became fully activated. Damn it's a lot of them....looks like I'm in some serious shit now!!!
End Part 2
*************************
This is the reintroduction and revamp to two old characters of mine combined into one (Sataria being one of my oldest characters of all). She's the brand new villain to hit the scene in Angel Falls and it looks like NO ONE is safe from the wrath of Sataria the Cyborg Queen and Cybercom...not heroines, not villains, NO ONE!!!
This is an story.

Yeah...I too really like the hive concept of the Borg. How to make that concept even better? Make them all women!!!

Honestly, I like Star Trek, but I was never a huge Trekkie. But yes, Sataria and the Collective are very much inspired by The Borg!

Thanks...I love female cyborgs, and the idea of the Borg turning everything into cyborgs appealed to me as I needed a good villain/group of villains for Diamond and the rest of my heroic OC's to battle. I "borrowed" the collective nature of the Borg and created The Collective!

Very inspired name you got there for a collection of gynoids. I don't know why, but I find the borg to be very scary.
I had an idea, thought about calling it The Hive. Small world, not anything like the borg, but same principle.

Yeah...the idea of the Borg is indeed scary. That's the same feeling that I want for Sataria and the Collective...think the Borg meets the Sentinels from X-Men but all female!
And their base of operations is called the Hive already.

Nice middle section. I can't wait for the next chapter. Poor Nikki, to be canned by the enemy. Hope she has an Ace up her sleeve, storage compartment, whatever cause she's gonna need help with this one. She have any back-up? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks yet again! You were correct in saying that Diamond has found herself in an insect/Borg like colony that's run by a Queen...only thing is that the Cyborg Queen wants Nikki to be her princess of sorts! As we see, Nikki doesn't want that, and she's really in what they call "deep shit"!!!!
Fortunately, Nikki is very resourceful and being that she's a state of the art cyborg we'll see just how well she fares against Sataria the Cyborg Queen and her Cybercom Collective! What I fear is that Nikki will have trouble against the sheer number of Drones that she will have to face off against...let's hope that the Calvary will arrive to give Nikki a helping hand!

Then the question becomes, just how mechanized does Nikki have to be before she's considered outside what the Cyborg Queen wants? In other words, does her symbiote constitute something that uses only "implant cybernetics" as being too "biological" to be considered one of them. The Cyborg Queen and her Cybercom Collective seems a bit primitive in their cyberdization of subjects -- surgical grafting and implants are all very crude methods of making one a cybornetic organism. Will her advanced cyberdization make her a target rather than a sister? Those are the thoughts that ran through my mind when I realized Nikki was being sized up. I hope the calvary arrives soon, cause a pissed Cyborg Queen is a nasty thing.

Mr-Marcus-81 In reply to Lurker-Below [2010-01-19 07:02:08 +0000 UTC]
Well, in Sataria's eyes it doesn't really matter how mechanized that Nikki has to be...especially considering that Sataria herself is almost completely mechanical. I don't think I really elaborated on it as much as I should've, plus I'm trying to save a little, but Sataria's propositioning of Nikki to join her collective was in hopes of Nikki would renounce her humanity and would embrace her cyborg side.
Being that Nikki's physical composition is 50% organic 50% mechanical, she's a prime candidate to be a part of the Collective...plus her body/technology is far more advanced than the drones and elite soldiers of the Collective; only Sataria's cyborg body could rival the power of Nikki's body and she has much more machinery. Not saying that the cyborgs of the Collective are stapled and glued together...it's just that Nikki's cybernetics are just that state of the art and advanced. It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Toyota.
In essence, Sataria would be benefiting by the acquisition of Nikki into the Collective. Even without her symbiote, Nikki has various cybernetic replacements and implants all over her body (You can see a brief reference to just what's under her "hood" [link] and here's her in a very sexy and provocative shot w/o her symbiote at full capacity [link] ) The symbiote is a prototype and Nikki's the first person to ever inhabit that particular type of cyber-symbiote and it's full powers and potential hasn't even been determined yet.
Sorry...I'm beginning to babble, so I'll get to the point: As for the Cyborg Queen and her Collective's methods of cybernetic assimilation...yes it is slightly crude, but Sataria was made into a cyborg that way and has added on over time, until there was more machine left than organic parts. Not to mention if Nikki was a part of the Collective her mind/internal computer would be shared amongst the Hive, and it could eventually be discovered how to duplicate the technology and learn how to create more cyborgs like Nikki instead of the lesser quality drones that are being produced.
As for her drones, all of them have some varying degree of cybernetic assimilation...however not all of them are extensively transformed into cyborgs. As in Star Trek and the Borg, the assimilation process can be somewhat reversed and unnecessary parts and implantation removed, provided that it's not necessary for the former drone to live.
In summation, you asked will her advanced cybernetic body make Nikki more of a target than a sister of the hive? Yes, but that's only b/c Nikki has refused Sataria's offer of being her herald...Sataria would have loved to have Nikki's body in her control, as it would indeed give her the edge in her mission to assimilate all of the females of the world and wipe out the male populous. There are some extreme badass chicks out there like Ultrawoman, Walkiria, and others that aren't gonna go without a helluva fight...with Nikki on her side, it would stack the deck more in her favor!
But....since Nikki has refused, you're right....a pissed Cyborg Queen is a VERY nasty thing and Nikki is about to find that out first hand!
But good news...cuz at least one member of the calvary is on the way! [link] Can she round up several other heroines to help out and arrive in time to bail Nikki out of this potentially mega dangerous situation?
I'm glad you asked your question...as I typed this, I came up with some other ideas for Sataria and her Collective!

It's not just Nikki that isn't gonna thank you...it's gonna be several heroines and even some villains of AF that aren't gonna be too happy with that either!
But nah....my mind has been cranking non-stop about how the rest of this Collective story is gonna play out! I really have some cool ideas that I think would definitely make for a great story and also establish Sataria and her Collective as a severe threat in Angel Falls!

Oh...Sataria would love nothing more than to have all 3 of them assimilate in her Collective. Polygirl would be used as a repair drone to repair damaged drones as well as to perform the assimilation transformation procedure. Sahlia and her multiple limbs would serve as one of Sataria's Elite Warrior Drones. And Angelina...Sataria's is still trying to computate and process just how effective it would be to have someone with her abilities of healing into the Collective...Sataria would probably want Angelina the most out of the three!
NO ONE IS SAFE!!!! Let's hope that Nikki can somehow put a stop to the Cybercom Collective!!!

With what I have in mind, if isolated away from the rest of the Collective a Drone can be saved kinda like how the Borg process was somewhat reversible.
Only thing is, depending on how extensive their transformation was would determine how much you can reverse...for example, if a drone was saved and only initially received a few implants and such that aren't dependent upon for living, then those implants can be removed. Or if the drone was subject to extensive cyberization, they would be free of the Collective's control...however they would have to live the rest of their life as a cyborg.
I've actually have some ideas in mind of some of my other characters being former Drones for the Collective that are now trying to take them down. I just wanted to establish the Cybercom Collective's presence first and foremost. As for Polygirl, I would imagine that her skill would most definitely come in handy against the Collective as well as saving some women from their grasp.

Ok now for the ultimate test of a true superheroine. Luck. Nikki is in so much trouble she is going to need more than her prodigious abilities and a brave heart. She is going to need a whole lot of luck. Maybe some mad scientist was able to track that portal and called in reinforcement. Maybe Cybercom wants to silence the renegade Sataria. Any wayIn order to avoid assimilation rescue Gemma and stop Sataria Nikki is going to need some luck.
