So...I've been sitting on the completed renders in this series since last October. My initial goal was to write a short story to accompany these images, and actually create an ongoing series; I have about another 12 renders that I've yet to post that are to take place after where I wanted this story was to end up. It features my gal Hotspur...who I've been absolutely head over heels for as of late...where in her role as galactic defender for the universe is sent back to her home colony, which has come under attack.

I was able to complete the first 3 renders, but I couldn't complete the 4th render due to low RAM and lack of a high-powered graphics card that can handle more complex scenes with multiple characters and background objects. Plus, I was struggling to come up with the story...it was very fragmented and as long as I tried to hold out and come back to it after letting it rest I just wasn't able to gain any worthwhile momentum to get the ball rolling on the stories.

So, I'm just posting these to get them out my system. If nothing else, perhaps once I FINALLY get a new computer...whenever that may be...I'll return to this story/idea. And perhaps I'll soon post the 12 renders that were supposed to happen a little further down the line. But for now, I hope that you at least enjoy these images of Hotspur swooping into action like the superheroine that she is as she prepares to defend her home colony!!!
