Man, that sure hit the spot...that lunch was exactly what I needed in my life! Okay...back to work. I know she hates it, but it completely fascinates as well as feels me with sympathy to see her taken apart. Nikki didn't ask for how her life has played out...all she ever wanted to do was to be a world class athlete. She never thought that her life would be stolen from her not once, but twice where she would be subjected to series of processes that would strip her humanity by the hands of others...used like a pawn in evil schemes that threated the entire galaxy.

I remember when I first met her and worked on her that she still had at least half of her original organic body that she was born with. I've always admired her....she was so pretty, in great shape, and just an all-around cool person. I mean, she's still all those things and more, but it's unnerving to know that she was almost lost forever b/c her mind had been semi-permanently wiped and reprogrammed as an ice cold, emotionless war machine. I did what I could to save her brain and that very same technology was the same thing that was able to restore her persona and memories to what was essentially an organic brain implanted into a robot's body.

Even that took years before she was able to "be herself" again. Plus, being one of the universe's greatest defenders and fighters of evil has taken its toll on her body, not at all helping conserve her fleshy bits. And she still suffers from the ongoing war within herself of Nicole Ambrose the woman vs. Adora-1, the cyborg paragon.

But she has come a long way, and has fought hard to reclaim her life. I admire her more now than I ever have, and it's an honor that I can call her one of my best friends and sister-in-arms...but I don't envy her or the extremely hard life that this great woman has endured. It's almost like the only time she's truly at peace is when she's deactivated like she is now; her brainwaves are never calmer than they are when she's "turned off". Rest easy, my friend...I hope your dreams are far sweeter than your reality.

Okay, let me get out of my feelings and wrap it up. I'll set up loading the new operating system, data, and programming into her brain so that when I transfer her to her new body, she'll be ready to roll.

Nikki has had a rough road indeed, but she's a fighter...figuratively and literally. Her human spirit and will to live is far more powerful than that souped up body of hers. It goes to show that Jetta has great bedside manner; she's a cyberologist/cyber-psychologist with a heart of gold that and actually has genuine compassion for her cyborg patients.
