Okay...let's see where we are. Everything's looking good....her new operating system and programming uploaded with no problems....a backup has been made of her current databank in addition to her organic brain waves and patterns....I think that's it! Now comes the fun part...transferring her head and brain to her new body! Once we get to the other lab where it's located!
Nikki's gonna be grumpy when I activate her and tell her that we're gonna have to take a little stoll down the hall for a bit to get there. She absolutely can't stand it when she's conscious while I'm performing repairs or regular maintenance. And she has never taken so much as a step when stripped down to her endoskeleton at any point in time since I had no choice but to make her current body from the neck down entirely mechanical and synthetic thanks to Sataria's failed attempted to strip away the very last little bit of her humanity that she has left.
I've always done my best to accommodate Nikki and sedate her brain activity or fully deactivate her systems until I'm done working, but this one I don't see any way around. I mean...I could detach her head and carry it over there, but there are also quite a few other parts and implants in this body that are will be transferred over to the new one, and it will take forever if I had to keep walking back and forth from there to here to get what I need.
I know that although this is her reality, she's still very sensitive to seeing herself and understandably so. Even after years of cognitive behavioral therapy sessions with her and coping with the trauma associated with being assimilated by Sataria while conscious, I have a doubt that she will ever fully be healed from that experience.
Hopefully, she'll be fine; it's just down the corridor a bit. At least her boobs won't be on display like they used to when her chest and upper torso was still organic! Here goes...activating Adora-1 unit in three, two....
