Description

By 265 Million + 9,960 Years PE the woodcrafters and social gravediggers started to explore their surroundings more, beforehand they were entirely busy with expanding and building out their coastal village and catching food, therefore never straying very far from their home.

The coloured areas were explored, if the ocean near the land is coloured it means that the social gravediggers and woodcrafters saw the shores of the land but did not set foot on them.

The red and reddish orange coloured land regions were settled by the woodcrafters and social gravediggers.

(The sea blue and land beige are the areas which would be explored in the following century in safer ways. The surrounding grey areas(atleast the ocean and island ones) would be explored later, with the exception of mostly inhospitable land/Glaciers)

They were searching for the last forests on Serina like crazy and by 265 Million+9995 Years they had discovered the last forest like patch on the meridian islands, the remaining parts were either grasslands or bushlands.

Their way of long distance travel were incredibly crude, they had boats with oars and usually explore only a day distance in the sea. For their long distance explorations they had bigger special boats, for water storage they had a main boat with ab boat inside, which was lined with clay and filled with river water, and to boats at the sides, the could lean over and drink the freshwater, this method obviously only work when there is no storm. The exploration slowed down by 265 Million+10000 Years PE as they were risky, but gained traction later on, when better boats were invented. The explorations were the logical extreme of the mentality to change to adapt to circumstances and try risky things and invent new things. This is also the reason why in this timeline the technology is much more developed. Almost dying out had a profound effect on the woodcrafters mentality, they want use their second chance for good and nowadays they are eager to change and learn new ways, even if it is difficult for many to do so. They try to be brave. They know that they are not invulnerable at all. They know about the ice age (maybe not about the full extent, but enough to understand most of the situation), and are thinking of measures to protect themselves (and the social gravediggers).
