Wumpo Boats

A long Time before 270 Million Years PE

Retally of the Tideland herd would later build boats for wumpos, much larger than usual boats. They can move by paddling, but are frequently dragged by greenskeepers or daydreamers for increased speed.

Wumpos now could fish for algae from the sea just like woodcrafters do.

But Retally was also obverocnfiednt, as he lacked proper experience, he underestimated the sea and did not know about the seacurrents and his boat foundered at the blunderstone. Retally and his companion were saved by daydreamers, and carried to the safe shore. This event was very embarrassing to Retally , who was much more cautious and subdued afterwards.

This event was later called Retallys blunder or also Retallys folly, and there are several stories about it, which often contradict each other (one exaggerated and unlikely story claims that his companion drowned, but this is not true, almost all the stories say they all survived the accident )

Aftertwards Retally was more down to earth and helped building the village near the retally river, this is how Retally Town was founded.

Retally became the mayor of the at the time small village, and sucessfully introduced the conservative wumpos to sea steward technology, which improved their lives, and he secured good and lasting relationships and mutual understanding between all the peoples. When he died, the entire Village was mourning. He left a good legacy, while his earlier blunder is still very much in the memory of the people, he is still held in good regards.
