More airplanes going over. This scene was more involved, in the end, than I'd initially imagined, but what can ya do? I like that in this sequence it's the masculine superior officer who's the one freaking out, and his female second-in-command who has to take control of him, in a reversal of the typical "war movie" style setup. I've never subscribed to that stereotype, really - I think men and women are just as susceptible to the same kinds of stress as anyone is - and Major Rucker is secretly the sensitive type anyway.
