I happen to really like this spread for a number of reasons. First, it disposed of some exposition that really tied the story together. Second, it essentially sets up a major aspect of the conflict in the central part of the story. And also, I happen to like the linework, and it has given me a little confidence in using the heavier, cartoonier lines, which really have begun to appeal to me in this comic's style in a way I hadn't imagined they would. Oh, and I like the gesture of Col. Haulley taking his helmet off. And I also like Hauptfeldwebel Hoffman, here, who is essentially being told that he might have to kill Mike.

Anyhow, there it is. More comics!
