Description The changewing is a primitive neopteroid dragon, and is the last of it's family, Nonarthropteridae. It's primitive wings are formed from rib outgrowths and have no joints, so they are not too good at flying. Like the zippleback, changewings have a long tail and body and short legs, making them very low to the ground. Changewings also have very wide chests, second only to the zippleback, whose wide chest is a result of their polycephalic origins. The long skull is similar in shape to that of the nightmare dragons, and the long antennae have the same function whiskers have on mammals. This dragon has no external claws at all, possibly due to them not being able to change colour like the changewing's skin. Out of all the other neopteroid families (Gronckles, Multi-headed dragons, Terrors) it is believed that, due to skeletal similarities, changewings are most closely related to the Polycephalids(Zipplebacks, Snaptrapper, Hydra) and Leptodraconids.(Terrible terror, squirrel-serpents, mood dragon, stink dragon, poisonous piffleworm) than Peltadraconids (Gronckle, Driller dragons.)
