Hello. This thing might actually work out. Mechanic in the back pulls the bowstring with the slide, the slide pulls an arrow out of the magazine, shoot...simple and fast reload system.Blender/cycles

sure would work, but the "bolts" wouldnt come far and would be very unprecise in the shape they are in by now. hardly usuable at 20meters i guess, no much matter the pull weight.
except the bolts would "drop off" the outer case or would be self-propelled and stabilized inflight. but then again there would be no sense in using a clumsy apparature like a crossbow for this. a simple rocket launcher tube would do same.
the other prob would be the power supply for pulling the string. the backpull would be very slow with longer lasting battery, or faster and the battery would be out of power after less shots. as it looks like, the battery will be very small,Β so... i guess about 30 shots and battery gone. u could attach an outer power sorce via cable for longer and more power supply.
why u chose the classic limb direction design and the round shaped cams? the design lacks confortable use, meaning it wouldnt be nice to hold and aim. looks almost steampunk stylish.
i had done the design more futuristic and ergonomic. nonetheless, looks great that thingy!
btw i remind some old ugly swiss or german guy on youtube, that built some like it. out of wood, recurve. huge apparature. u sure will find it.
