Well, I've decided to make a character select screen based on that, with the permission of .
I went with a select screen reminiscent to early Street Fighter titles and I used Sonic Battle artworks to complete it... since I can't imitate the artist's art style.

Bark should be replaced by Fang, Earthworm Jim should be replaced by Noodle and Foo, Rocket Knight should be replaced by Custard and Jazzi, Megaman should be replaced by Ka-Chung and Cloe, and Banjo and Kazooie should be replaced by Hatsune Miku.

Hold up, Sega did something similar to Super Smash Bros before it was even release for the N64, it was called Fighters Megamix, and it had several characters from their fighting games, even a car! The appropriate title for Sega's SSB would be Sega Fighters Ultramix.

I'd replace BK with Morrigan Aensland, Hatsune Miku, or Sash Lilac, but that's just me.

If the Bonanza Bros were in this, then they'd be very similar to the Ice Climbers. Β Also, ToeJam and Earl would play somewhat like Duck Hunt. Β And another thing, Sonic the Werehog would be a slower and heavier yet stronger clone of Sonic the Hedgehog, like how Dr. Mario is a clone of Mario.
