Desaturated version of my previous map, here.I feel that this matches the mature, dark content of The Hunger Games trilogy more closely.

I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the first book that some districts are on the west coast. I love the map though.

In the books, the West Coast is not mentioned specifically; in the Facebook game "The Hunger Game Adventures", District 4 is said to lay on the west coast.
I prefer my rendition; the Gulf coast is a rich and teeming source of sea life, especially shrimp (which is mentioned as a major food export from D4!)
