Boy, this really shows off how colossal Lanayru is with the sand sea included. Even without it, it's still the largest of the three regions.

It really is; true enough, Lanayru is one of my favourite regions due to 1) its vast explorable terrain, 2) its history of an advanced culture and bloody conflict, 3) the impact that said-conflict had on the environment, turning a verdant plain and vast shallow sea into a realm of dunes, and 4) the marvel that is the Timeshift Stones. It's an awesome space.
