Description
Recently I was looking at some statistics that show the way that deviantART muro gets used, and I was surprised at just how much the blending/smudge tool gets used. Apparently, a lot of people that use it are going after a smooth photo-realistic look. Most of my work, whether with traditional media or digital, tends to have a lot of texture in it. I usually like leaving in brushmarks, splatters, and drips. However, I decided to try to make a more blended piece this time around, so I could get more of a feel for deviantART muro 's personality as it is seen by a large number of our users. As I drew it, I was taken back to a figure drawing class that I took 15 years ago. My exasperated teacher would stand behind me as I scribbled saying, "Michael, would you *please* learn how to use your chamois!"

Aww, thanks. I draw in deviantART muro quite a lot, so I think it is as easy to make a good drawing in it as with any other program. Of course, I am biased though!
I enjoyed looking at the deviantART muro drawings in your gallery. Keep up the good work!
