My goodness this was fun to make. When coloring this, I was really worried it wasn't going to turn out the way I wanted it to, but the final outcome has calmed my nerves! Hope you like it Ingie!
As for the image itself. I always imagined Link as rather shy... hence why he isn't reaching out to her just yet. Both of them are kind of nervous. It's been a long time sense they've actually seen each other and it's on the verge of awkward, but not. Wow... that didn't make much sense did it?

I love how Link is holding back; he does look nervous, like you said. OoT Link's personality never struck me as too socially outgoing, or boastful, or anything of the sort that some people like to see him as. You've captured that shy tenderness of his in his expression, his longing and simultaneous uncertainty that maybe she won't react the way he hopes her to

Aw, so very very cute! Makes Zelda more like a woman, rather than stiff-upper-lipped-princess-with-no-emotion and link more like a normal guy. A picture says a thousand words, and I could go on for days why this picture is so damn awesome. Romance, epicness, the almost sad atmosphere, yet...so many other things.
Anyhow, ramblings aside, very awesome!
