So these are my reviews for what I think are the worst episodes Spongebob has to offer:

20. Truth or Square
Ah, the episode that promised so much yet gave so little. This one wasn't too bad, but I was really disappointed. I think I should have seen it coming, but it was the 10 years anniversary. It was supposed to be the episode of episodes, the top of the top, the best episode Spongebob had to offer. Instead it seemed dragged out, plus, they pulled that bull with Spongebob/Sandy shippers saying that got married. Anyway, I shouldn't waste my time on #20. Many more are much worse.

19. Planet of The Jellyfish
This one, again, wasn't too bad. But I have a question: What were Luke Brookshier, Marc Ceccarelli, and Doug Lawrence, [the writers] on? I mean, alien jellyfish? They had an opportunity to make a good episode(maybe the only good one in it's season, 8) but I think it was horribly written. What mayonnaise freezes that fast? I only saw this once or twice, maybe because I can't stand the sister episode, so this may be a little off. So, again, moving on.

18. Mermaid Man Begins
You know this was Ernest Borgnine[The original Mermaid Man]'s last episode? He died on July 8, 2012. [R.I.P] I know they couldn't have known, but I just wish his last episode had been more honorable. This one had too many bad jokes, in my opinion. But I could be over sensitive because I get attached to actors.

17. The Googly Artiste
Why were Pet Rocks so popular? This episode ticked me off because Squidward works hard, but Patrick didn't do anything! And at the end, Patrick made Squidward make the googly eyed Krabby Patties, but took credit for it, calling Squid his apprentice. Other than that, an alright episode.

16. Clash of Triton
If one person liked this episode, I would like to know. Spongebob did just what he was told, and at the end, everyone got mad at him for letting Triton out. One of the only times, in the newer episodes, that I feel sorry for Sponge. Plus, they always say Neptune is a good king, but what king is proud of someone who destroys the city? And the thing I disliked the most: WHERE IS MINDY?!?!?! I don't mind the lack of continuity usually, but I would have liked to see her again, since she was such a big part of the movie. I mean, who wouldn't have liked to watch Pat see Mindy again?

15. Slide Whistle Stooges
Oh, it hurts. Spongebob and Patrick followed Squidward around, stalked him, in addition to other things. And how come when Spongebob said Squid had an ear for music, Squidward just fell and began doing it to other people, despite knowing first-hand how annoying that is? Why did the town just hate Squidward? After all, Spongebob and Patrick did the exact. Same. Thing. I have seen this episode multiple times, just fyi. A season 6 episode that disappointed. Not average, but not uncommon.

14. Demolition Doofus
You would have thought that an episode where a teacher tries to murder her student would have made it lower on the list. But there are so many morals broken in the next episodes, it's awful. This episode is extremely dark and should not have been labeled the same show as a legendary episode such as “Ripped Pants” I've only seen this once or twice, because I couldn't sleep. I believe at the end her inflation sac is no longer popped? How does that work? I'm moving on because it's hard to write about this episode.

13. Karen 2.0
Not much to say on this except: ugh! Plankton, you used to have morals. He was a complete *ss to his wife. Anyway, onto #12!!!

12. Bubble Buddy Returns
They had to go and ruin one of the best Spongebob story lines of all time! It was an extremely annoying episode, and while Bubble Buddy caused trouble, his son, “Shiny Bubble”, did it on purpose! I would have thought Bubble Buddy would raise his son better, but instead his son's a brat. This episode doesn't get a lot of attention for what I think is a lack of quality, but I think it deserves to be right where it is, on my personal “Worst Spongebob Episodes”

11. A Day Without Tears
How annoying can an episode be? While Spongebob is sensitive and cries frequently, this episode over did it, he does not cry this much! And I also don't like the ending, how they made Spongebob act superior, saying; “That's all right, let it out. You can cry all you want. You're among friends here.” in a superior tone. It made it seem like he hadn't been crying all those years(which he hadn't, but according to the episode, he had). I don't know why that part ticked me off so much, maybe the fact that it's the very opposite of Spongebob and Squid's relationship in the Old episodes. Oh, well.

I will continue from #10 in a second part. Thank you for reading, and please comment! Thank you!

Nick sure has a lot of nerve of bringing Bubble Buddy back many years later with an episode like that.

If an episode wasn't that bad, you shouldn't put it on a worst list.

The only ones I disagree on at Planet of the Jellyfish and Mermaidman Begins. I thought they were pretty good.

Truth Or Square was a stab in the back for SpongebobXSandy lovers. (including me)  It was a little happy for me to see them get married, I mean they're so cute together!

"Aww... Look at that Bob, a sweet little episode! LETS CRUSH IT WITH A KNIFE IN THE HEART!"

Writers in a nutshell. They need to think about the episodes before they post it, they need to take it slowly like an artist, one little mistake is okay, but stabbing everyone in the heart is the wrong way to go.

More like a stab in the back to anyone who ever gave a damn about the show.

I respectfully disagree with a certain choice. IMO, surely "The Splinter", "Pet or Pests", or "To Love a Patty" are worse than "Planet of the Jellyfish". Also IMO, "Truth or Square" should be higher than that episode.

This is a good list you have here! Allow me to state my thoughts on these episodes!

#20. Truth Or Square: While there were some good parts to this special, I can see why you didn’t like it. The writers hyped up this special like they were going to reveal some of our most questionable secrets. But, to our EXTREME dismay, these secrets were never told. Krabs doesn’t tell the formula. Plankton doesn’t reveal some evil plan. And most of all, Sandy and Spongebob only get married… as part of a play. You know how I reacted to this episode? Well, here’s how:

Before: Oh, boy! Spongebob and Sandy will get married!
After that flashback is over: EVERYTHING I KNOW IS A LIE!!!

This episode (to me) is a mix between good AND bad. While it does have its soul-crushing moments (LIES!), I thought the flashbacks were kinda cute (made me think about the old days of Spongebob), the humor was mildly funny, and the story itself was okay. So, again, I think that this episode is more of a mix between good and bad.

#19. Planet of the Jellyfish: PREPARE TO FEEL MY WRATH!!! Okay, I’m joking, but I actually really love this episode. I found it pretty creative for the writers to parody those sci-fi monster movies. That was pretty cool. And I liked how Spongebob and Sandy worked together to defeat the alien jellyfish. Plus, I love this line right here: HOLD THE MAYONAISE! I don’t know why, but for some reason, I adore this line.

#18. Mermaid Man Begins:
Let me tell you right now, after I saw this episode, I was actually pretty disappointed. I realize the fact that MM & BB turned into superheroes only by eating some overcooked popcorn, rather than by going through all the radioactive stuff was part of a joke, but I can’t help but feel a little duped, since I was expecting to see them turn into superheroes in an awesome way. I probably shouldn’t complain about that, but it still bugs me a little. Also, this was Mermaid Man’s last role in Spongebob, sadly.

#17. The Googly Artiste: I… I really don’t have much to say about this one. I don’t really hate it, but I don’t find it that good either.

#16. The Clash of Triton: This is actually my second least favorite special in the series (the first being the Great Patty Caper). I mean, seriously. There’s a whole bunch of plotholes, a whole bunch of lies (THERE WAS NO BATTLE!!), and whole bunch of unlikeable characters. And seriously Neptune? I’m not trying to be disresprect you, but you locked uo your son because he was NICE? … Really? Aren’t gods supposed to at least be fair? I mean come on! Also, NEPTUNE (Roman) and AMPHITRITE (Greek)?!?! Way to mix up mythologies!

#15. Slide Whistle Stooges: Man, do people hate this one. And while I can understand their hatred, I actually like it a little bit! To be perfectly honest, I'm actually one of the few people who don't find the slide whistles annoying. While they can get repetitive, they are also pretty funny, depending on the situation! In fact, throughout the episode, I was actually chuckling throughout (until the end), mainly because of how they drive people crazy (like when you hear a slide whistle every time you turn a page, sip your tea, etc.)! However, there are a couple things that keep me from giving it a really good score. One, I do think Spongebob and Patrick should've been aware of how much they were annoying Squidward, and that they should've kept their limit. Two, what the heck is with the sadistic ending? Squidward crashes and almost dies, and everyone (except Spongebob and Patrick) CHEERS? How come Spongebob and Patrick get to make slide whistling fun of the sick and dying, yet Squidward can't have a little fun? Seriously, why?

#14. Demolition Doofus: Wow. I watched this episode recently and I believe that this is one of the most messed up Spongebob episodes ever! Seriously? An episode where Mrs. Puff turns into a crazed psycho killer and tries to kill Spongebob???

As the episode went on, I wasn’t sure whether or not this was one of those “Lost Episodes” that have been shown on the air. I was a Lost Episode Creepypasta fan at the time (I am now, still) and because of that, I was REALLY hoping that Spongebob (or another character) wouldn't die a brutal or gory death. It was THAT disturbing!

#13. Karen 2.0: Never seen it.

#12. Bubble Buddy Returns: I don’t remember this one very well. Though, from what I CAN remember, while I don’t think it deserves to be on a worst list, I can see why you hate it. Isn’t Shiny Buddy supposed to be nice?

#11. A Day Without Tears: Boy, I remember the days when I despised ADWT. Though, after watching ADWT recently, I realized that it wasn’t so bad. Sure, it got annoying at some points, but at least it wasn’t annoying like it was in All That Glitters. And the plot was weak, but at least decent enough to keep me entertained (for the most part). Also, I’m starting to get tired of people yelling “SQUID ABUSE! WHY DO THE WRITERS LOVE TORTURING SQUIDWARD?!” every single time Squidward gets a smidge of bad luck. I mean, come on! So it’s Squidward Abuse if Squidward loses a bet and has to have a slumber party with his adorable, sweet neighbor, who loves him very much and considers him one of his best friends? Oh, please… Maybe Spongebob shouldn’t have said his final line in such a superior tone like that, but I still wouldn’t consider this episode Squid Abuse.

I’m going to read the second part!

Also, I'd like to know, what is your opinion on House Fancy?

Stephen hillenburg quit Spongebob and left his work there then this fat douchebag name Paul tibbet ruined Spongebob through season 4 to 9

The main thing that bothered me the most about "Planet of the Jellyfish" is the fact that they never properly explained WHAT exactly the "Jellians" were OR where they even originated! Were they aliens? If so, then how and why did they end up at the bottom of the sea, hiding in a cave in Jellyfish Fields? To be honest, I think that nowadays, the creators just get stoned and write whatever comes to mind.

No, you must know, everyone must know he abandoned the show at the end of season 3, of better, he wished to end the series with the film but as always the companies ruined the human art, Stephen is no longer in charge of his own show! He dont write the episodes or even see them, he have no more control of his own creation. another dumb was put in charge of the show, Stephen only is reciving the stocks.....

I agree that Boating Buddies is an awful episode, and in the 2nd part, I will list it in "Runners Up"  I just think there are much worse episodes released.
