What is the software you use to make these themes, because I searched all over the internet and I couldn't find it

this is ONLY FOR the windows 7 build 7600!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i read comments about 7600 users cant use the System32. Now You Can!

steps:

1 download restorator.(you can search it on the internet)

2 open the 2 imageres.dll files. the one modded and the one at the windows\system32.

3 navigate to version folder

4 there should be a bitmap file there. save the bitmap file from the windows\system32 and save it as 1.res now save the 1.res to the place where the modded imageres.dll

5 go to the opened restorator program that is opening the modded imageres.dll

6 go to the version folder again, right click the bitmap file select assign - assign to....... there should be a search folder
select the 1.res file.

7.enjoy!

note:

do the same thing to the shell32.dll at step 2 until 6.

I saw that your theme has a 32bit explorer.
I've uploaded a 64bit explorer for your theme like your startorb ions.
I hope that it will useful.

yay, found 2 ways to apply a custom theme.....

1. Patch Your UXtheme First Then Apply.

2.Find A .jpg File At The Internet.....download it,then right click it click set as desktop background then save theme!

(number 2 maybe hard but i will show you)

Download The Wallpaper.jpg And Go to File Location>Select>Wallpaper.jpg>Right Click>Set As Desktop Background>Right Click>Personalize>Right Click>Save Theme>Name it (e.g Windows 8)

First of all, awesome looking skin. However, I have a severe problem. I changed the .dll files as instructed to modify the log-in screen and explorer, but apparently I cannot copy, cut, rename or delete items. I wish to revert the changes I made to my system32 files, but it seems impossible.
How can I revert the changes I made?

mufflerexoz, if i break the rule..... just banned me ok? ok, i used your "Windows" and "system props" to windows 8 using the windows 8 theme here and used windows7logonbackground.exe(it changes the logon screen's background" then uses the wallpapers from internet and also created boots thanks to this tool and wallpaper:

-TuneUp Utilities 2008
-Boot Screen From The Internet....

Then My Own Windows 8 Is On My Win 7 (All Changed except The Themes)

I love it, this is my 1st time seeing windows 8. How do I download these themes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BlacqWolf In reply to Lebakam [2011-02-09 15:23:37 +0000 UTC]

This isn't the actual design of Windows 8. Microsoft hasn't actually finished it, and the only official thing we know about it is it will support the system-on-a-chip systems and, a Microsoft employee leaked it will also be available as a 128-bit operating system. There is no actual word on the design of the system.

The same looks wicked in Windows 7 , thanks !!! Just wondering, is it possible to remove the Windows 8 Logo that is part of the Window 8 Explorer Longhorn Style. I have a dark visual theme for my Windows 7 and the bright windows logo in every explorer windows seems out of place, any way it can be reverted to the original Win 7 (which is a single colour) Thanks !!!

can i use this theme in win xp?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BlacqWolf In reply to ashi01in [2011-02-09 15:26:07 +0000 UTC]

No, because each edition of Windows is built on a slightly different kernel (core of the system, provides the link between software and hardware) and this is written specifically for Windows 7.

BlacqWolf In reply to G-mel0010 [2011-02-09 15:28:04 +0000 UTC]

No, Microsoft has not released any official information on the look and feel of the next version of Windows. Every PC used to preview Windows 8 software is Windows 8 software running with a Windows 7 interface.
