This comic appears in Secret Prison 2.My sister says this says too much about my life and is quite upsetting. However, I kind of meant it to be a broader take on how bizarre and hopeless the shit we do is.

Hey, I've been a silent observer of your works for a while. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your art, especially this piece. I think this work inspires me especially because it convinces me that I can't handle a typical lifestyle.
Your work is immeasurably unique, in both style and a sort of aggressive introverted-ness. I love how you appeal to those awkward unspoken fuzzy grey lines of being a person that everyone social seems to be able to navigate seamlessly.

I want to dislike this. For its brutal honesty, for its sheer eloquence in illustrating in black and white (literally and figuratively) the pantomime of our sadly eked out existence and how most of the slings and arrows we endure we shoot at ourselves.
But instead I love this for those very same reasons.

The song's name is "Mad World" It was originally by Tears for Fears. It was later popularized by the cover done by Gary Jules and Michael Andrews, which is the version best known.

Life is more than the sum of its parts. The things we do might not be meaningful on their own, but they can be if we assign meaning to them. This process is what makes us human.

...And yet somehow there's a minor difference in every one's day which makes it stand out from someone else's.
I love how simplistic the message is. But then I started thinking, that squishy stuff, people eat different squishy things. The stuff that people do is also different. Some one out there might even enjoy the monotonous pace of an average human's life, how it is all the same, orderly and routinely.

You kind of outlined my daily life. Upsetting? I don't know if I think that way. The wish to do something better, we sometimes make it true.

I was totally thinking about this today. So much is so routine, so many people just don't look around. I think the part that hit the hardest was "Turn Down all offers for potential enjoyment" because I've been noticing as I get older, I've been forced more and more to do this because of "homework" (university) or "chores" or something just plain not fun. :\

I can see it as a really personal view into someone's life, but yeah--in the broader sense of generic everyday life as well. you've really hit just the right note with it, it's both touching and amusing... depressing and thought-provoking. and you've presented it in such an intriguing visual style--well-deserved congratulations for your DD--I'm glad I got to see it!
