This comic appears in Secret Prison 2.My sister says this says too much about my life and is quite upsetting. However, I kind of meant it to be a broader take on how bizarre and hopeless the shit we do is.

This is amazingly simplistic and gritty. I enjoy the way you break down our lives to the bear bones and just give us the cold hard facts about life.
I would love to see more of this kind of thought process in comic form.

I'm pretty optimistic and pessimistic at the same time. Like everyone else, I used to believe in things and had high hopes for my future. However as I get older life just becomes a struggle.
Most of the time I gladly indulge myself in satisfying basic human needs, then I read, watch movies and stuff, hang out with friends. I'm happy and content when I do these things.
But then sometimes I stop and think, and I realize how sad life is, how we think we know stuff and do stuff and convince ourselves that we matter. People live, people die. Everything will be history. Somewhere, creatures of a higher civilization is surely laughing at us.
Life is joke. Somewhat.
I'll continue to observe and snark till I die...or at least till my brain dies.

I lol'd, but it was one of those bitter 8<-faced lols. You've managed to make this really honest and bleak and stark and depressing with the monotone and the wee skeleton lad [PS, Skeleton pornstar's pointy ass cracked me up], whilst still keeping it funny and, oddly, light-hearted.
I like.
Your sister is wrong. I'm pretty sure this is general enough to apply to everyone, except those, y'know, perky people who're always up to something - doing shit for the community, helping sick kids, immunizing orphans etc. [Those assholes.]

I like this a lot! Similar thoughts have ben rattling around my head recently, about how we spend our lives, the shared and yet lonely boredom of it all, and well this is pretty much perfect. I love the writing in particular, very funny without really being funny, you dig?

I dig! I never really try to be that funny, things I do seem to naturally go through that filter. Which is lucky because I think it prevents things like this from leaning too far into the pretentious.
