I knnooww it's a bit early but this is an entry for my art department's christmas card contest. Don't think it really works as a card but I think it's nice and snug 'n stuff.Began with paint/collage, with digital characters and other embellishments. I hate the word embellishments.

There was actually some real shadowing, because the mountains, main triangle shapes and snow are actual collage so they were sticking up a bit. I just kind of enhanced them and added some here and there.

I love the colors of the little characters! They really tie in with the ornaments.

Haha, thanks. I've been education my whole life, I'm scared I might die or evaporate or something when I come out of it so I'm trying to make my shit as epic as possible in the meantime I guess.

Just about the best idea for a Christmas card I've seen in years. I love the stillness of it, I can almost hear the snowflakes fall. And the light around the star at the top is wonderfully done

I definitely think it works as a card - the background is definitely *Christmassy*...the painterly style sums the feeling of traditional Christmas card up to me, yet your adorable characters give it a modern twist. I like

This has an awesome, textured look to it. The colours are nice and warm--love that you used gold instead of blue on the snow ^^
Not to mention the deer and bunny- people, they're simple but very cute <3 and the matching red and blue works quite well

Yeah it was weird, I like to warm pictures up but I realised this was a bit counter intuitive for snow. But did it anyway.
