Did you merge the layers correctly? Sometimes depending on that it can really mess up the layers.
If you need me to I can fix it up for you if you send me the psd file you worked on.

i just saved it on my iphone and redid the lines and did the shading myself 
my artwork is done on my phone or ipad so maybe thats why it was like backwards

Oh yeah, idk how things work on mobile, so that may be the problem there.
But yeah doing the shading yourself is fine, the layers I provide are just to make things easier. As long as I get credit for the base if you post it anywhere, all is good.

I tried and had a go, even though Paint wasn't working and I had to use Sai instead, I'm happy with how it came out.Β

I tried to do one with Iodine and I think it ended up pretty cute for how terribly his marks and spines work in tiny pixels. Not even going to attempt animating.
