No sé si ya lo resolviste pero te explicaré: Hay que copiar y colocar el thumbnail en la descripción: ":thumb 170008819:" (quita el espacio que puse entre las letras y los números)
Pero los core (como tú) pueden ponerlo más fácilmente con el "Add media" en la opción "DevianArt" si es que lo tienes entre tus favoritos, también puedes hacer lo mismo con tus trabajos.
